LEADING THE WAY IN
COATING ADVANCEMENT

Our next-generation urethane chemistry, combined with our unique process for coating fertilizer substrates of all sizes and shapes, drives continual innovation and advancement in controlled-release fertilizer technology.

Next Generation Chemistry

Developed in collaboration with coating formulation experts, our unique chemistry allows us to apply a thin, pliable and durable coating membrane, bringing numerous benefits unattainable with other products, including:

Ability to:

  • COAT multiple granular and prilled substrates of different shapes and sizes
  • ADJUST coat weights to meet desired longevity, from 30 to 360 days
  • TAILOR product release rates to specific soil temperatures
  • INCORPORATE additives such as micronutrients, microbials and biostimulants
  • MAINTAIN integrity during handling and application

State-of-the-art
Plant Design

Our manufacturing process is as exact as our products. With a unique modular production facility design, we can efficiently serve multiple regions at once while locating plants close to the markets they support.

We have a curing and batch time that is roughly five times faster than traditional controlled release technology, and our low operating temperature allows for survivability of temperature sensitive additives. By coating at lower temperatures, we reduce our energy requirements, minimizing our carbon footprint.

PATENTED COATING
PROCESS

Our low coating weight and patented micronutrient incorporation technology allows for inclusion of micronutrients, biologicals, biostimulants and other additives. Unlike traditional blended fertilizers, Pursell CRF products provide homogeneous distribution of nutrients, delivering uniform and controlled release of all nutrients to ensure all plants are adequately fed.
